Currently a month into it’s open run, MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL is selling out. The gripping story was the season’s most anticipated musical and it is living up to the hype.

Nominated for 4 Tony Awards including Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for Valisia LeKae! Based on the true story of Motown founder Berry Gordy and his rise to fame as one of America’s most influential music moguls, Charles Randolph-Wright (Dreamgirls) directs Broadway’s Motown The Musical. The show follows Gordy through the 1960s as he launches the careers of music legends like Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross and the Supremes, and Smokey Robinson and The Miracles. In the process, he also transforms himself into the man who shaped pop culture and tore down social and racial barriers with a new soulful sound. Motown: The Musical features a book written by Gordy himself and a score compilation from the iconic Motown catalogue, including “Do You Love Me,” “My Girl,” and “You’re All I Need To Get By.”

The Assembled Parties centers on the Bascovs, an Upper West Side Jewish family in 1980. In a sprawling Central Park West apartment, former movie star Julie Bascov and her sister-in-law Faye bring their families together for their traditional holiday dinner. But a house guest has joined the festivities for the first time and he unwittingly (or perhaps by design) insinuates himself into the family drama. Twenty years later, as 2001 approaches, the Bascovs’ seemingly picture-perfect life may be about to crumble.

C.J. Wilson joins the cast of the Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of The Big Knife. Previews for this electrifying production, starring Bobby Cannavale, start March 22. Opening night is scheduled for April 16.

In the golden age of Hollywood cinema, actors may have all the glory, but studio execs have all the power.

The Hoff-Federated studio has had its most successful star, Charlie Castle, over a barrel ever since it helped cover up a mistake that could have ended his career.

When a woman with insider knowledge threatens to come forward, the studio heads will stop at nothing to protect Charlie’s secret… but how far is he willing to go before he quits the movie business for good?

Set in a glossy world of rumor mills and rocky friendships, The Big Knife is a riveting, bitingly funny look at how challenging it can be to stay true to yourself – when everyone expects you to play a part.

Broadway veteran Nathan Lane returns to the Broadway stage in The Nance. Previews begin on March 21 and the opening is scheduled for April 15. This show is sure to sell out so be sure to get your tickets!

A nance, according to Webster’s Dictionary, is “an effeminate or homosexual man.” In the world of 1930′s burlesque, a nance was a wildly popular character, a stereotypically camp homosexual man, most times played by a straight performer.

In The Nance, playwright Douglas Carter Beane tells the story of Chauncey Miles (to be played by Nathan Lane), a headline nance performer in New York burlesque, who also happens to be a homosexual.

Integrating burlesque sketches into his drama, Beane paints, with humor and pathos, the portrait of a homosexual man, living and working in the secretive and dangerous gay world of 1930′s New York, whose outrageous antics on the burlesque stage stand in marked contrast to his messy offstage life.

Be sure to get your tickets to this, hopefully long-running, show which opens March 20. We won’t be missing out.

Holly Golightly is the woman every man wants to be with and every woman wants to be. Now, the unforgettable heroine of Truman Capote’s master novella, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, comes to the Broadway stage in a world-premiere play starring Emilia Clarke (HBO’s Game of Thrones), Cory Michael Smith (“The Cockfight Play”) and George Wendt (Norm in Cheers), with a script adapted by Tony Award® winner Richard Greenberg (Take Me Out, Three Days of Rain) and costumes by three-time Academy Award® winner Colleen Atwood (Alice in Wonderland, Chicago, Memoirs of a Geisha).

Tony Award nominee Sean Mathias (The Elephant Man, Indiscretions) directs this stylish and innovative new production of the classic tale about living by your own rules… loving on your own terms… and wearing your heart on your designer sleeve.

For 13 weeks only Jekyll & Hyde the Musical comes to Broadway. Previews begin April 5th and opening is scheduled for April 18th at the Marquis Theatre. Be sure to get your tickets for what is sure to be a a passionate and thrilling show.

American Idol star and Tony Award® nominee Constantine Maroulis joins with multi-platinum recording artist and Grammy® nominee Deborah Cox to inject new life into the classic tale of good and evil, JEKYLL & HYDE.

After a four-year run on Broadway and multiple world-wide tours, this dark and dangerous love story from Tony® and Grammy Award® nominee Frank Wildhorn and Oscar® and Grammy Award® winner Leslie Bricusse returns with all its classic songs (“This is the Moment,” “A New Life,” “Someone Like You”), now remarkably reinterpreted to suit the powerful and contemporary vocal stylings of its new stars.

Its story, however, remains as timeless as it is irresistible. A devoted man of science, Dr. Henry Jekyll is driven to find a chemical breakthrough that can solve some of mankind’s most challenging medical dilemmas. Rebuffed by the powers that be, he decides to make himself the subject of his own experimental treatments, accidentally unleashing his inner demons along with the man the world would come to know as Mr. Hyde.

This brand new direction and choreography are the work of Tony Award® nominee Jeff Calhoun, who’s behind this season’s breakthrough Broadway hit, Newsies.

Two red-hot stars. One cold-blooded thriller. JEKYLL & HYDE.

No musical has ever held you like this.
