After playing 136 Broadway performances, Ghost the Musical will no longer haunt the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre after August 18. Based on the 1990 Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore film of the same name the musical was nominated for three Tony Awards, including Best Featured Actress for Da’Vine Joy Randolph.  The Broadway cast currently currently includes original London leads Richard Fleeshman as Sam,  Caissie Levyas  Molly, Bryce Pinkham as Carl and Randolph as Oda May Brown. Though the show will no longer appear on Broadway, a national tour is planned for the fall of 2013.

A series of supernatural effects created by Paul Kieve have left audiences captivated for the past few months. The LED scenic design, which gives a fast-paced view of New York City and takes audiences onto a moving subway car, are created by Jon Driscoll. Ghost has set and costume design by Rob Howell, choreography by Ashley Wallen with musical supervision and arrangements by Christopher Nightingale, lighting by Hugh Vanstone and video-projection design by Jon Driscoll.
