Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas will return to New York City this Christmas season as a part of its holiday tour. It will play at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden from December 13 to 16. Casting will be announced shortly.

The Grinch was first seen on Broadway in 2006 and again in 2007. The show made its Los Angeles debut in 2009. The show is based on the original holiday classic by Dr. Seuss and was conceived by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O’ Brien. It’s  book and lyrics are by Timothy Mason, music by Mel Marvin and additional music and lyrics by Albert Hague and Dr. Seuss.
