Erin Dilly to replace Kelli O’Hara in Nice Work from July 15-28
Beginning July 15, Kelly O’Hara (Billie Bendix in Nice Work If You Can Get It) will take a leave of absence from the show for two weeks. Taking her place will be Erin Dilly(Chitty Chitty Bang Bang). O’Hara will resume her role on July 29.
Dilly was nominated for a Tony & Outer Critics Circle Best Actress awards for her performance in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang which was also her last Broadway role. She has also appeared in Follies, Into the Woods and The Boys From Syracuse. In addition, she has been in the national tours of South Pacific, Martin Guerre and Beauty and the Beast (Belle). Her films include “Julie and Julia,” “Too Big to Fail,” “Everyday People,” “12 Men of Christmas” and the upcoming “My Friend Vijay” and “The Diary of Preston Plummer.”
After winning two 2012 Tony Awards for featured actors Judy Kaye and Michael McGrath, audiences have continued to fall in love with Nice Work. Even in O’Hara’s absense, the show is sure to delight both the seasoned theater goer and the new.
