I see a theme for new Broadway musicals this March: movie adaptation. Four new movie-based musicals are set to begin previews next month. From beyond-the-grave lovers to Irish musicians; religious con-men to newsboy protestors, some familiar characters will soon be making their Broadway debuts: Ghost the Musical, Once, Leap of Faith, and Newsies are all moving from Hollywood to the Great White Way. Each of these new musicals is a sure-fire hit with groups this spring.
