Symptom: With so many new shows this spring, how do I know what will be good for my group?
Dr. J’s Prescription: First I would determine what type of group you have (students, seniors, foreign?). From there we can narrow down your choices to the perfect fit. My recommendations for sure crowd pleasers would be the new musical Ghost or the revival of Evita. I saw Ghost (based on the hit 1990 film) last week and the special effects and the set alone are worth the price of admission! The show is truly magical. Evita returns to Broadway in its first-ever revival starring international pop superstar Rick Martin. I saw this dazzling new production last night and I know your groups will love it! As for a plays; I’d tell your groups about Peter and the Starcatcher or the Arthur Miller classic Death of a Salesman (starring Phillip Seymour Hoffman).
